Open Grants

An OPEN GRANT is an opportunity for any regional charity to apply for funding through a competitive granting process.  Here are the grants that are currently accepting applications.

The Ann Morris Memorial Fund awards grants to support programs, services, and activities for the purpose of enriching the quality of life of persons of advanced age, who have been diagnosed as intellectually disabled.

Criteria for Applicants:
  • Organizations must run programs that serve citizens who are advanced in age and who have been diagnosed as intellectually disabled

  • Need to be located in the Pine Belt region (Counties:  Smith, Jasper, Lawrence, Jefferson Davis, Covington, Jones, Wayne, Pike, Walthall, Marion, Lamar, Forrest, Perry)

Applications will be open October 16, 2023

Deadline for Applications is December 10, 2023

 

 

The Faith for a Cure Fund at the Pinebelt Foundation will provide financial aid to women in Jones, Covington, and Perry County who are in need of help with the financial burden of a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment course.  Application for help can be found below, as well as the giving portal for those who wish to financially support Faith for a Cure.

 

 

Calm Harbour.png

The Calm Harbor Fund is offering grants for non-profit organizations and schools serving PreK through 12th grade in Forrest and Lamar County.  Grants may be up to $5,000

Deadline for Applications is December 15, 2023
